Little Known Method on Getting Listed on First Page of Google For Free

A brief list of the various ways on how to get listed on Google well, includes the following

1) Pay Per Click Advertising- Adwords, Overture etc

2) Search Engine Optimisation

3) Video listing via popular media such as YouTube, etc

4) In weak localised online keyword markets, classifieds can also help in dominating the first page of Google.

The above list is NOT exhaustive, however it provides a strong platform for anyone who wishes to get found on Google. Being easily found usually results in one outcome- More visitors = More conversions in sales

Even if your immediate goals aren’t sales, and may be branding awareness etc, Google is a fantastic way to achieve just that.

Now, for the purpose of this article alone, I will be explaining more about dominating pages which are focused in a particular locality. For example, in Singapore, there is a dedicated Google.Com.Sg site which allows the users to search in a more targeted geographical manner, meaning, for listing within Singapore itself.

By now, you might be a little confused, but a few examples should clear things up. For the purpose of this explanation, go to Google.com.sg

Now, search for the keywords “AFFORDABLE PAINTINGS” within Singapore.

The organic results page should turn up 10 search results. Go ahead and click every one of those results, and open them in a new tab, window, or whatever they call it nowadays.

You will notice one similarity to all the links. They ALL point towards one domain name, ArtisanPieces which is an online art gallery based in Singapore. Now, if you were to return to the search page results, you will notice that virtually NONE of the search results for the keywords “AFFORDABLE PAINTINGS” point directly to this domain name. In short, all ten of the Google results point to some sort of online classifieds or another, and these classifieds in turn point to that domain name.

On the other hand, type in “art gallery” in Google.com.sg and you will find that NONE of the search results on the first page are routed via a classifieds page, they all point directly to a domain name.

What does this tell us?

1) In premature markets which are primarily local, certain keywords have not been dominated yet, commercially. This represents a fantastic opportunity to tap into niche markets or keywords within Google and get found more easily via this popular search engine.

2) Even in traditionally strong and relatively developed keyword markets, such as “Art Gallery” you could still target the keyword variations such as adding the term ONLINE to the original search term, which now makes it “Online Art Gallery”

By adding this term to the original search keyword, you will now see that classifieds again dominate the first page of search results.

To conclude, if you want to feature strongly, and for free in Google, then you must consider selective classifieds postings, not indiscriminately posting to all the available classifieds listings.
